Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupwheat flour
  2. 1/2 cupkhichdi or cooked rice
  3. 1 tbspoil
  4. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  5. 1 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1 tspcoriander powder
  7. Pinchasafoetida (hing)
  8. 1 tspsesame seeds
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. as neededWater
  11. For roasting
  12. As neededOil/ghee for roasting

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients and knead a semi soft dough by adding water as needed.

    Make small balls and roll thin.

    Roast the thepla from both the sides using ghee/oil. Serve with curd or chutney or tea.
