The first step is to prepare the marinade for the chicken. Make a paste of the onions, green chilies, ginger and garlic, lemon juice, chilli flacks, coriander, cumin seeds, salt and vinegar. Marinate the chicken chunks with this paste. Let it sit for about 40 minutes.

Next, prepare the batter for the chicken. Mix together the besan, rice flour, salt, turmeric powder and water. It should be of thick consistency.

Now, take a pan and heat oil in it. Dip the marinated chicken pieces in the thick batter and put it in the oil. Deep fry the pieces until they are golden brown. Make sure to put the chicken pieces in batches.

Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
