Heat oil in cooker, add cumin seeds, peppercorns, cloves and green chilli, after few seconds add onions, fry it till translucent.

Add tomato and ginger, then add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder mix well.

Then add moong dal and bottle gourd and rice two cup water and cover and cook for 2-3 whistles.

Serve hot with curd.
