  • 1 cupself raising flour
  • 1 cupmilk
  • 1/8bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/8salt
  • 3 tbscastor sugar
  • 2 tbsbutter or margarine
  • 1egg
  • 1 tsppoppy seeds
  • 1 tbsgrated lemon rind
  • 1 tspvanilla essence

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl, mix all the ingredients

  2. 2

    In a hot pan pour our your batter and cook the pancakes on medium low heat. Once you see the bubbles turn and cook the other side.

    Serve with a hot cup of african tea 😋😋
