Steps

Make a soft dough of wheat flour with salt and water.

In a kadai, add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, 1 chopped tomato and cook until tomato gets soft.

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cooked dal and 2 cups water and let it boil.

Once it starts boiling add salt. Now roll the chapatis from kneaded dough cut them into square shape and add into dal.

Cook until gravy becomes thick and serve with coriander leaves.
