Ingredients

3-4 persons
  1. 2 cupsrice
  2. 1 cupdal moong
  3. 1 tbspzeera
  4. 1 tbspsalt or to taste
  5. 1bay leaf
  6. 1/2 cupoil
  7. FOR Curry:
  8. 250 gramsyoghurt
  9. 1/2 bunchcoriander
  10. 4 tbspbesan heaped
  11. 3_4 green chillies
  12. 1 tbspginger and garlic paste
  13. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  14. to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    METHOD:
    Soak rice and dal for 1 hour.Take a pot,add oil and zeera.When it starts cracking,put 3 glasses of water and salt.Cover the lid.When it gets boil,put rice and dal in the pan..Mix it well and cover the lid.After 5 minutes,slow the flame.When dal and rice done,turn off the flame.

    METHOD:
    In a blender put the yoghurt,green chillies,coriander and besan and blend it well.Take the mixture in the pan.Add oil,ginger and garlic paste,turmeric and salt.Keep stirring until it becomes smooth consistency.Ready to serve.
