Sift all the dry ingredients like maida salt, baking powder and baking soda and mix.

Add sugar and curd mix with the hands nicely

Put water and knead it into soft dough.

Divide the dough into 4 parts. Take one part and roll it cut balls of bigger than lemon size.

Now roll with the help of spindle into roti somewhat thicker thn normal roti

Put water on the rolled side and place it on hot tawa.

Bubble start to appear then turn the tawa and bring the side of the Nan near the gas and cook untill done by moving the tawa continously so that all sides are cooked and gets the marks of being cooked.

Soft nans are ready may be turned into butter Nan or garlic nan and enjoy with the gravy
