#new That was the first try on #ghewar and it is not simple at all😂😬😬Always wanted to try but as found it tough, didn't give a try. But today trying a new recipe made me happy. Though it didn't turn out perfect... I was out of that comfort zone and the saying is apt keep trying until you succeed. 🥰🥰

Take ghee in a wide bowl. Take a big ice cube and start rubbing it on ghee. The texture should turn creamy. The add chilled milk and mix with a hand blender or electric blender to a smooth batter. Add water and mix again. The batter should be of pouring consistency. Thin but not very thin.

Take the sugar and water in a saucepan and cook until one string consistency

Now heat a pan with ghee for frying. You can take 50-50 ghee and oil if you prefer. The ghee should be hot. Now pour the batter little by little. First you pour a little, wait and you will see the batter spreads aside on it's own. Repeat this 4-5 times and cook until crisp and take it out carefully. Keep aside on a plate and pour the sugar syrup. Sprinkle chopped nuts and serve with chilled rabadi.

Note : Use a small non-stick pan for batter results. You can use a metal ring if get for making ghewar. I di t have so tried directly on pan.

For making rabadi, I used 3 breads whose sides were cut and added to 500 ml milk with sugar and saffron strands. Boiled and cooked until rabadi consistency. Added cardamom powder snd few drops of kewara jal. Done! Refrigerate and chill before use. Pour on ghewar and serve😋
