I have made it using handva flour.
Steps

In vessel add handva flour,sour curd and water to make to make semi thick batter. Keep covered for 6 hours for fermentation.

At the time of making..add turmeric powder, asafoetida, salt, oil,soda bi carb/ eno salt and mix well. Pour in grease thali. Sprinkle red chilli powder.

Place it on stand kept in water filled steamer vessel. Cover and steam for 20-25 minutes.

In small tadka pan add/ heat oil. Add mustard seeds cummin seeds and sesame seeds as splutter add curry leaves and off the flame.

Pour this tempering on steamed khatta dhokla. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Cut into squares pieces.

Serve/ Relish Delicious Khatta Dhokla with green coriander chutney & hot tea/ coffee.
