Steps

Firstly take a large Kadai and put 1/4 cup ghee and roast 1 cup Chikpea flour, 1cup Semolina on low flame..

Stir continuously till the Chikpea flour combine well with out any lumps..

Keep frying on low flame till the mixture turns paste and slowly turn aromatic.

After 20 to 25 minutes, the mixture turns golden brown indicating the chickpea flour has been cooked completely. Keep aside

Now in another pan/ Kadai take 1/2 cup sugar. Dissolve sugar completely and boil for 8 minutes.

Check for 1 string consistency of sugar syrup, else boil further be careful as the sugar syrup will be very hot.

Now transfer the prepared sugar syrup over Chikpea flour mixture.(Keeping the flame off)

Still well making sure that the sugar syrup mixed uniformly and thickness.

Add 1/4 tsp cardamon powder and mix well.

Transfer the prepared dough into greased plate linked with baking paper. Also prepare balls to prepare Chikpea flour burfi.

Set well forming a blocks.

Now top with few chopped almonds and press slightly

Allow to set for. 30min or till it sets completely.

Now unmould and cut into squares pieces.

Finally serves Chikpea Dil KHUSHHAL or store in a airtight containers.
