Paneer Paratha

Prepare a soft chapathi dough with wheat flour, salt and water. Grease with some oil and let it rest while we prepare the filling.

In a kadai, add 2 tbsp oil and add finely chopped onion and salt and saute. When the onion becomes translucent add all masalas (turmeric, chilli, coriander, cumin, garam masala powder) and mix well. After 2 mins of saute add the grated paneer and coriander leaves. Turn off the flame. Mix well and let the mixture cool.

Pinch a small ball from the dough and roll into small chapathi. Keep the filling and seal closing from 4 sides making a square. Dust some flour and roll it gently so that the filling spreads evenly.

Now heat the tawa and place the parata. Flip when one side is partly cooked. Add some butter and flip once again. Serve it hot with some raita.
