Ingredients

10 minutes
2 people
  • 1/2 cuppoha
  • 1/4 cuppeanuts
  • 7-8cashews
  • 1 tbspOil/ghee for roasting poha
  • 1 tspoil/ghee for roasting peanuts and cashews
  • 1/4 tspcumin seeds
  • 5-6curry leaves
  • 1 pinchaesfoetida
  • 1/4 tspfreshly grounded peppercorns
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Add peanuts and cashews. Roast on medium flame till golden in colour. Take out in a plate.

  2. 2

    Now, heat 1 tbsp oil in the pan. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves, let it splatter. Then on high flame, add poha and stir continuously for 2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Then reduce the flame and saute till poha becomes crunchy. Add salt, black pepper powder and roasted peanuts and cashews. Mix well and serve when it becomes warm.

  4. 4

    Note: you can store it in a airtight container and can enjoy this snack for a week.
