Ingredients

12 servings
  • 1 cupchopped onion
  • 1 cupchopped green bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoonbutter or margerine
  • 1 (28 ounce)can with tomatoes with liquid cut up
  • 1 can (4 ounces)mushrooms stems and pieces
  • 1 can (2 1/4 ounces)sliced ripe olives drained
  • 2 teaspoonsdried oregano
  • 1 poundground beef browned and drained
  • 12 ouncescooked and drained speghetti
  • 2 cups (8 ounces)shreadded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounces)condensed creame of mushroom soup undiute
  • 1/4 cupwater
  • 1/ 4 cup parmesan cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. 2

    In large skillet saute onion and green bell pepper in butter until tender

  3. 3

    Add tomatoes mushrooms olives oregano and ground beef

  4. 4

    Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes

  5. 5

    Place half speghettivin, a greased 13 x 9 pan

  6. 6

    Top with half of vegetable mixture

  7. 7

    Sprinkle with 1 cup cheddar cheese

  8. 8

    Repeat layers

  9. 9

    Mix soup with water until smooth pour over casserole sprinkle with parmesan cheese

  10. 10

    Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes
