Steps

Take a pot,put dal and add 2.5 cups of water.

Add all mentioned above species and turn on stove flame.

Make it cook until dal becomes tender.

When dal turn soft or tender,add tomatoes and green chillies.

Make it cook for at least 20 minutes.

Now for tarka,take fry pan,put some oil.Heat up oil and then add garlic cloves,whole red chilli.

When garlic cloves turns slightly brown turn off heat flame.

Add tarka into dal.

Dal is ready to eat.

Served with cutted Lemon slices,sprinkle chopped hara dhanai.
