Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a classic Italian recipe: pesto. I usually use almonds or walnuts because I don't always have pine nuts on hand, and since they're expensive, I prefer to use another type of nut. Today I used almonds—the result is always excellent, give it a try and see for yourself!

Wash the basil leaves and let them drain in a colander.

Meanwhile, in a food processor, grate the Parmesan cheese, almonds, and garlic clove.

Add the basil leaves and salt, then slowly pour in the olive oil while the blades are running. Done!

Enjoy as a sauce with pasta, or as an accompaniment to main dishes. Get creative and enjoy!

Note: With this amount, I made 5 jars of about 3.5 ounces (100 grams) each. I covered the pesto in each jar with extra virgin olive oil and froze them, so they're always ready when needed!
