First, prepare the tamarind chutney and keep it in the refrigerator. Add 1 teaspoon sugar to the yogurt, whisk well, and set aside. Boil the potatoes, let them cool, peel, and mash them thoroughly. Add onion, green chilies, ginger, bread crumbs, cornstarch, rice flour, chaat masala, red chili powder, and salt to taste. Mix everything well.

Grease your palms with oil and shape the mixture into small round patties. Coat each patty with all-purpose flour. Place all the patties in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry the patties on low heat until golden brown.

Place the patties on a plate. Top with yogurt, tamarind chutney, black salt, chaat masala, red chili powder, cumin powder, grated carrot, onion, green chilies, cilantro, and sev. Serve and enjoy this delicious, tangy Aloo Tikki Chaat!
