Boil penne for 10-15 minutes on medium flame or till soft. Drain, wash and keep aside.

Heat butter in a pan. Add chopped garlic cloves and onion, saute for 2 minutes.

Add chopped tomatoes and salt. Stir.Add tomato puree.Add 1/2cup water and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.

Tomatoes are done, add tomato puree and tomato ketchup. Mix.

Add boiled penne, add pepper powder and grated cheese.Mix well.

Cook on low flame till all things mix well.

Add chilli flakes. Penne are ready to serve. Serve hot.
