Homemade Ginger Garlic Green Chilli Paste

This is a purely homemade paste that lasts for a few months without any problem at all. It will neither rot or nor become stale. I always do this and there has been absolutely no problem at all. In this Paste, I use Ginger, Garlic, Salt and Green Chillies. This way it will not only be fresh and green but also tastes great with all the Curries and Gravies. Because of the presence of Green Chillies, it has a vibrant colour and imparts a lovely aroma to the dish as well. However you can skip Green Chillies if you wish. There is no ham in it. The important thing to keep in mind is that it should be stored in a freezer. And whenever required, empty a little in a small glass bottle and refrigerate. The major portion of it has to be stored in a freezer for best results.

Steps

No Cook Recipe
  1. 1

Add all to the blender jar or a food processor in parts and using little water, blend to a smooth paste.

  2. 2

Chop Garlic and Ginger to small pieces along with the Chillies. This will make the process more easy and hassle free. It not only saves your precious time but also comes handy in times of need.

  3. 3

You can even add Coriander Leaves as my aunt does. This also is a very good way of storing the Greens for a long time. I never tried it this way but have used Green Chillies always.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
