Ingredients

  1. 1 tbspCanola Oil
  2. 1onion peeled and sliced thinly
  3. 4 clovesgarlic, peeled and minced
  4. 1Pork Belly Slice
  5. 3 tbspfresh shrimp paste or cooked shrimp paste in bottle
  6. 1small can or 1 sachet of Coconut Milk
  7. 4 pcsThai Chili (Bird's Eye Chili) sliced
  8. 2finger chilies (Green long Chili) sliced
  9. 1sliced of Ginger
  10. 1 teaspoonsugar

Cooking Instructions

    Bring Pork Belly into a boil

  2. 2

    When Pork Belly is tender, rub salt on it and heat oil then deep fry

  3. 3

    Once the Pork Belly is Brown and Crispy set it aside and prepare the pot and heat oil

  4. 4

    Add onion, garlic, ginger and fine pepper then add the shrimp paste and sautee

  5. 5

    Add coconut milk, water, thai chili,finger chili and sugar. Bring to a simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened

  6. 6

    Cut the Crispy Pork Belly and put it on top of the sauce and garnish some whole Thai Chili

  7. 7

    Serve hot with Hot Cooked Rice
