This is a traditional dish of Kerela but widely made in tamilnadu also
Steps

Soak the raw rice for 3 hours.

Grind the rice. Take some grinded batter and add water to it and heat it.

It becomes a paste add the paste to the mixie with the other batter and grind it evenly.

Add salt and ferment it. Next day you can add Appa soda a pinch and cook.

Serve it with coconut milk and sugar or stew.
