Doodhi or bottle gourd is a very humble and healthy vegetable, easy to digest but bit bland in taste! I have enhanced it's taste by cooking it in a chatpatta green gravy!!

Doodhi or bottle gourd is a very humble and healthy vegetable, easy to digest but bit bland in taste! I have enhanced it's taste by cooking it in a chatpatta green gravy!!
Steps

In a food processor, put garlic, onion, all the green leaves, ginger, green chillies and make a coarse paste.

Heat a cooker add oil, rai and jeera. After they spluter add green paste and fry for 5minutes on medium flame. Add chopped doodhi and poatoes. Fry for a few minutes.

Add all the dry masalas and fry for 2 minutes.

Make a coarse paste of tomatoes in the food processor and add to the cooker and fry for another 5minutes.

Add some water and close the cooker and cook till 2whistles. Lower the flame and shut off the gas after 3 minutes.

Serve with chappati, salads, and soup or sweets.
