Steps

Take milk in a thick bottom pan,prior to pouring milk,boil 1/4 cup water in pan and then add milk,it will prevent burning of milk

Keep stirring of milk and reduce it till it becomes thick,switch off the flame,divide it into two parts,add kesar essence in both parts of khoya

Add in half part kesar and pinch of colour and mix it well

Now once cool add bura/ powdered sugar in both the parts of khoya

Now in a greased pan spread the white part of khoya with the help of spatula and on that spread yellow khoya layer

Sprinkle almond flakes and let it set for around 15 minutes

Now it has completely set cut it into pieces, easy kesar Malai burfi ready
