Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsflour
  2. as required Thyme seeds
  3. As neededOil
  4. 1/2 cupsooji
  5. as required Water
  6. 1 cupboiled Bengal grams
  7. 1Boiled and diced potatoes
  8. as required Curd
  9. 1Onion - chopped
  10. 1Tomato - chopped
  11. as per taste Salt
  12. 1 tspPepper
  13. 1 tbspRed chilli powder
  14. 1 tbspChaat masala
  15. As neededMint
  16. 1Green chillies - chopped
  17. as required Namkeen bhujia
  18. As required Pomegranate
  19. as neededGreen coriander - chopped
  20. 1Lemon juice

Steps

    Mix flour, sooji, thyme seeds, 4 tbsp oil, water to make a dough.

  2. 2

    Let it rest for 10 min

  3. 3

    Make a simple chappati shape from the dough.

  4. 4

    Take a small bowl according to required size and shape. Grease the back side of the bowl with oil and stick the chapati to it.

  5. 5

    Heat oil in a deep kadai. Deep fry the bowl in it.

  6. 6

    When the dough turns golden brown, remove the bowl from the centre to create the edible cup.

  7. 7

    Flip the cup until it turns crisp and golden brown.

  8. 8

    Let it cool down for 5 min.

  9. 9

    Create stuffing by mixing, lemon juice, bengal grams, potatoes, curd, onions, tomatoes, salt, black pepper, chaat masala, red chilli powder. Be creative with it.

  10. 10

    Fill the cups with stuffing. Garnish with bhujia, coriander, mint, pomegranates, green chillies, onions, tamarind chutney, green chutney.
