Ingredients

6 servings
  • 500 gself rising flour
  • 1/2 cupdessicated coconut
  • 1egg
  • Cooking oil
  • 2 tbssugar
  • 1/2 cupwarm milk
  • 2 TSPvanilla essence

Steps

1hr 20 mins
  1. 1

    Mix the flour with sugar then add an egg, some cooking oil, dessicated coconut, vanilla essence and mix well

  2. 2

    Add warm milk and knead till you get a soft dough.

    Cover and leave to rest for 1hr

    Then roll the dough and cut to desired shape

    Heat oil till hot then fry the mandazi

    Fry till brown both sides
