Peel mangoes and cut. Discard the seeds. Put them in a bowl with some water. Add jaggery. Cover and pressure cook for 2 whistles.

Run a blender and make it smooth. Sieve.

Add water. Add all the spices and combine everything well. Serve chilled.

Keep it a bit thick (like kadhi or dal) if you want to eat with khichdi. Make it thin if you want to serve as sorbet.
