  1. 2 1/4 lbsground beef or lamb
  2. 2large onions
  3. several sprigs of mint
  4. several sprigs of parsley
  5. ground cinnamon
  6. ground cumin
  7. ground coriander
  8. ground black pepper
  9. ground ginger (optional)
  10. 2 tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil

Cooking Instructions

    Finely chop the onion.

    Chop the mint and parsley.

    Add all the ingredients to the ground meat and mix very well until you get a homogeneous mixture.

    Let it marinate for several hours, preferably overnight.

    Form balls the size and shape of a croquette, placing them on skewers and pressing them well so they don't fall apart during cooking.
