Steps

Peel wash and cut your potatoes. Make sure they aren't too thin or too thick.

Gently boil the potatoes to soften them. Do not let them be very soft lest they will mash up.

Heat some oil and deep fry your potatoes. Best served when hot. For accompaniments you may use salads, sauces and stir fries. I used cabbage stir fry with some paprika.
