Ingredients

  1. 250 gmskaju pieces
  2. 1 cupswater
  3. 1 pinchSaffron
  4. 1 tspCardamom powder
  5. 1 cupSugar
  6. 2 cupsMilk (to add to the sharbet.)and

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak Kaju for 2-3 hours. Grind in a grinder to make a smooth paste

    Add little water if required.
    Add kaju paste, 2 cups water and in a pan and cook till the mixture comes to a boil.

    Reduce the heat and boil till the mixture is reduced to half.
    Add sugar, milk and cook for another 5 minutes.
    Add cardamom powder and mix well.
    Cool complete.

    When ready to serve, add 1/2 cup sharbat in a glass and top the glass with cold milk and ice cubes.
    Serve chilled.
