Ingredients

  1. For salad-
  2. 1/2 cup- yellow moong dal
  3. 1/2 cup- finally chopped cucumber
  4. 1/3 cup- coconut grated
  5. 3- finally chopped green chillies
  6. 1/2 cup- finally chopped coriander
  7. 1/2- lemon(juice)
  8. to tasteSalt-According
  9. For tempering -
  10. 1tsp- oil/ghee
  11. 1/4tsp- asafoetida (hing)
  12. 1tsp- mustard seeds
  13. 10- curry leaves
  14. 2-red chillies

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Soak moong dal in water for 3-4 hours.

  2. 2

    Wash and drian the water transfer to the bowl.

  3. 3

    Take a moong dal bowl add all ingredients and mix well.

  4. 4

    Heat a oil in a small pan.

  5. 5

    Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add red chillies.turn off the gas and cook for few sec.

  6. 6

    Add curry leaves and asafoetida let this cook for 10 sec.

  7. 7

    Transfer to the immediately to salad bowl and Mix it.

    Serve it.
