Ingredients

4 people
  • 1/2 cupsooji
  • 1/4 cup ghee
  • 1/2-3/4 cupsugar as per taste
  • 1 cupwater
  • Pinchsaffron
  • As neededChopped nuts
  • 10raisins
  • 1/2 tspcadamom powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and roast nuts for 2 min. Keep aside. Now in the same pan add sooji and ghee and roast till it turns change colour.

    Now boil water and add gradually to sooji. Stir continuously. No lumps should be there. Cook for 2 min. Now add sugar to it and stir continously till it becomes thick.

    Soak saffron in 1 tbsp water and add to halwa. Now add cardamom powder and nuts to it. Tasty halwa is ready to serve.
