This is our all time favorite recipee and one of my specialities. Matar paneer a delicious dish to b served with rice or even with rotis of kulchas.

Steps

Heat 2 tbsp oil in the pan and add cumin seeds and bay leaves.

After the cumin seeds and bay leaves are little roasted add ginger garlic paste and cook for at least a minute.

Add, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, onion paste and tomato pury and cook until the mixture leaves some oil
- 4
After the mixture is cooked, add coriander and cumin powder, salt, cashew paste, peas and paneer to the mixture.

If the mixture seems to be too thick, add water to get desired consistency of the gravy.

Close the lid of the pan and let it cook for another 3-4 minutes.

And the dish is ready to be served. Garnish the dish with chopped coriander.
