Melt the butter in the pan.

Add in cocoa powder and whisk. Add sugar, egg and whisk. Add flour, baking soda and milk and whisk.

Cook on stove over low heat, cover lid and cook for 10 - 12 mins.

Do the tooth pick test. Bring pan off heat and keep lid on until fully cooked.

Remove cake to cool completely. Once cool, transfer the cake back into the pan.

Poke holes to cake. Pour milk over cake for milk bath.
