Spinach Nuggets

It is a dehydrated product which is prepared by mixing chopped spinach and spices in presoaked and grinded black gram daal (dehusked). These nuggets are healthy with the richness of calcium, iron and vitamin A and can be used as ingredient in the preparation of biryani and sabji.

Steps

Soak black gram in water for 6-7 hours or overnight.

In a food processor, grind the soaked dhal until smooth in texture.

In it, add chopped spinach along with spices.

Mix it properly.

Take a plastic sheet and grease it with oil.

Make small chunks of the paste and place on the sheet.

Dry the chunks for 2 days till dried completely.

Store under airtight container.
