Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 °F
- 2
Slice potatoes thin and arrange in oven safe dish. Preferably use a cast iron dish. Set aside for later

Heat butter over low heat in saucepan and slowly add cornstarch, herbs, and S&P as butter melts. Make it smooth

Chop onion and mince shallot and garlic. Add to the saucepan with the herby butter goodness. Cook for a few minutes

Only add the oat milk and bring to a boil. Stir constantly while it thinkens. Shouldn't take too long

Reduce heat to low and add the smoked gouda to create a cheese sauce
- 7
Pour sauce over the potatoes and bake in the oven for 1 hour. Uncover and bake another 45 minutes. OPTIONAL: Broil for the last 5 minutes for a crispy layer
