In mixing bowl add besan/ chana dal flour, green chillies ginger paste, turmeric powder and salt. Add buttermilk and mix well with hand to make smooth, lump free batter.

Pour prepared besan batter in cooker steel container. Place this container in pressure cooker. Pressure cook for 3 whistles. Let steam escape before opening the lid.

In tadka pan add heat oil. Add mustard seeds as splutter add curry leaves. Off the flame.

Cool the cooked thick khandvi dough completely. Put half of prepared kandvi dough in hand press gathiya making mould.

In shallow plate/ bowl make khandvi noodles as shown. On it pour 1 tsp of prepared tadka/ tempering. Sprinkle / garnish with grated fresh coconut and chopped fresh coriander leaves. Similarly prepare kandvi noodles with remaining dough.

Serve/ Relish Delicious Khandvi Noodles.
