Ingredients

  1. 250 gmsgram flour
  2. 5 tbspsugar
  3. 1 and half tspcitrus acid(limbu na phool)
  4. 1 tspturmeric powder
  5. as requiredSalt
  6. as requiredWater
  7. 1 tspbaking soda
  8. For tempering
  9. 2 tbspoil
  10. 1 tspmustard seeds
  11. 1 tspcumin seeds
  12. Pinchhing
  13. handful curry leaves
  14. 4-5green chillies sliced
  15. 1 chopped coriander leaves
  16. 4 tbspsugar

Cooking Instructions

    Take a bowl to add flour. Add sugar salt turmeric Limbu an phool and mix it now add little water and mix it in one direction for 10 to 12 minutes adding little water keep stirring with hand.

    The batter should be thick smooth and flowing consistency. Use your hand to mix the batter. Don't use electric bitter or whisker. Smooth thick batter without any lumps. 1 cup of water and little will require.

    Now close the lid and give rest for 20 minutes. Meanwhile add water in steamer grease plate thali and keep ready. After 20 minutes add 1 tsp baking soda and mix it. The batter would become froth and bubbly. Immediately pour.

    I have kept ready to stand in a steamer. Now pour the batter into a mold and keep for steaming. Place newspaper above it and then close the lid and steam for 20 minutes.

    For tempering- Take a pan to add oil once get heat to add mustard seeds cumin seeds hing curry leaves and green chilli once get splutter and 1 cup water and sugar and boil it add chopped coriander leaves and mix it.

    Check with the help of a spoon or toothpick in between whether it's cooked or not.

    Yes, it cooked now time to pour bhagar over it. Sliced edges.

    Now pour the tempering over khaman Dhokla and let it seep through sliced edges.
