Clean and wash the daal nicely

In a pressure cooker add daal, turmeric, ghee, salt and garlic pods.

Give 1 whistle and turn off the flame.

Heat up oil in a pan add hing,jeera,sarso dana,and red chilies After 1 minute add onions, when onions turn in golden colour then add all masalas, and tomatoes.

Garnish with coriander leaves, serve hot with rice or roti.
