Cream Cheese and Potatoes Wrapped in Cured Ham Christmas Wreath

This is what i made for Christmas last year. I used to make it with ordinary mashed potatoes, but this time I added cream cheese for richness.
Add cream cheese while the potato is still hot, so that it melts while mashing. You don't have to make the mashed potatoes totally smooth, so a wooden spatula is fine. The flavors become muted when the potato has cooled, so add a bit more salt and pepper than you normally would. Recipe by Sugamiho

Steps
- 1
Peel the potatoes and cut into 8 pieces each. Put the cut potatoes in a small pan, cover with water, and boil.
- 2
Cut the cream cheese up into small pieces. When the potatoes are cooked, drain and return immediately to the pan. Add cream cheese and a generous amount of Krazy Salt (or salt and pepper), and mash with a wooden spatula.
- 3
Place a slice of ham on a piece of plastic wrap, and spoon some of the cooled mashed potato on top. Squeeze together to form a ball. I think you can make 10 balls.
- 4
Boil the broccoli in water and season with salt and pepper (about 4 to 5 shakes) until it's bright green. Slice the carrot thinly with a peeler to form ribbons. Wash the cherry tomatoes.
- 5
Arrange the ham wrapped balls on a plate, and decorate with broccoli and cherry tomatoes. Arrange the carrot like a ribbon. Cut 2 slices of ham in half lengthwise, and roll each piece into a rose. Put the roses on the ribbon, and it's done.
- 6
You could squeeze mayonnaise like this too.
