Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 280 grams○Ground pork
  2. 1 tbsp○Ground white sesame seeds
  3. 2 tsp○Katakuriko
  4. 1 mediumegg ○Egg
  5. 1 dash○Salt and pepper
  6. 2stalks Bok choy
  7. 300 gramsfirm tofu
  8. 1 1/2 tbspChicken broth bouillon (in 4 cups of water)
  9. 2 tbsp◎Sake
  10. 1teaspoon- or (to taste) ◎Doubanjiang
  11. 1heaping tablespoon ◎Soy sauce
  12. 2 tbspGround white sesame seeds
  13. 1 dashSesame oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Knead the ingredients marked with ○ together.

    Warm up the ingredients marked with ◎ along with cubed tofu.

    Wash the bok choy, and cut into 2 or 3 portions.

    Roll the ingredients from ○ into balls, drop in the pot, and cover it with a scum-removal sheet (if available), or skim the surface scum with a ladle.

    After boiling, add the bok choy, and lightly boil together. Add the white sesame last, and drizzle with sesame oil for fragrance.
