6medium russet potatoes
to tasteCelery salt
to tasteGarlic powder
to tasteHerbs (cook's preference)
to tasteGround pepper
as neededWater
2 tbspButter

Peel potatoes and place them in a bowl of water

Cut into large chunks and place back in water

Add to large stock pot with original soaking water
4

Add 2 tablespoons of butter
5

Add remaining seasoning to preference
6

Boil until fork tender. If liquid reduces to much add more 1/2 cup at a time. If you want the liquid to thicken, add a cornstarch slurry.
