Coriander & Mint Chutney

This beautiful fresh and vibrant green chutney is a delicious condiment, a staple in many Indian households and people like to make it to their own tastes. You can enjoy it in a number of ways, from with spiced chicken kebabs to sandwiches or even on top of eggs for brunch. It's very versatile. Here's how I make it, I like it to have a slightly thick and textured consistency so it spreads well over toast or bread.

Steps
- 1
Add all the ingredients to a blender (except the water), and blitz in bursts at first then blend fully for a couple of minutes until a thick and fragrant paste is formed.
- 2
Add in the water and blend until a slightly runny and textured consistency is created. It should be like a thin paste that's spreadable.
- 3
Transfer into a small sterilised jar and keep in the fridge until ready to eat.
- 4
Serve up with your chosen dish. Ideal as a dipping sauce or condiment, lovely in a cheese sandwich or with cheese on toast. Also fabulous eaten with eggs. Enjoy! :)
