Dry roast til in a pan. Take out in a plate.

Grease chakla or platform where you want to make chikki with ghee. Also grease rolling pin or velan.

Take same pan in which we roasted til. Add gurd and let it melt. Keep the flame medium.

Gud will melt in 3 to 4 mins. You will see bubbles over it. To check whether gud is done or not, take a bowl put one drop of melted gud in the bowl. If it solidify then it is done. Add one teaspoon of ghee. It will give shine to chikki.

Now add til and mix it well.

Now put this mixture on the chakla or platform which you have greased, add few nuts and roll it. This process has to be done quickly otherwise gud has a tendency to solidify in no time. You can keep the thickness of your choice. Garnish with nuts.
