Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsrice
  2. 2 tablespoonsoil
  3. 1/2 cupdiced white onion
  4. 3gloves garlic, chopped
  5. 4 cupsbroth, water (chicken)
  6. 1bay leaf
  7. 1 teaspoonsea salt
  8. 2fresh seranno or jalapeno peppers, whole

Steps

  1. 1

    Saute rice in oil til lightly browned

  2. 2

    Add onion and garlic, stir 1-2 minutes

  3. 3

    Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil

  4. 4

    Reduce heat and simmer 5 min

  5. 5

    Cover and simmer 15 min

  6. 6

    Turn off and rest 10 min more. Fluff rice and serve.
