Ingredients

2 cupsrice
2 tablespoonsoil
1/2 cupdiced white onion
3gloves garlic, chopped
4 cupsbroth, water (chicken)
1bay leaf
1 teaspoonsea salt
2fresh seranno or jalapeno peppers, whole

Steps

Saute rice in oil til lightly browned

Add onion and garlic, stir 1-2 minutes

Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil
4

Reduce heat and simmer 5 min
5

Cover and simmer 15 min
6

Turn off and rest 10 min more. Fluff rice and serve.
