Lentil Soup with Bulgur and Onions (Mama's Style)

Lentil soup is one of the tastiest and most popular soups around the world, and it's a staple meal in many countries. Usually, lentil soup is made with butter, garlic, cilantro, and peppers, but this version is a bit different—it's suitable for everyone, especially for those who can't have peppers or when someone has a cold or the flu. Wishing everyone good health.

Steps
- 1
- 2
Place the lentils and bulgur in a pot. Wash them well, then cover with water. Finely chop the onion and add it along with the clarified butter. Put the pot on the stove.
- 3
Once foam appears on the surface, skim it off completely. Let the soup boil for about 30 minutes or longer, depending on the type of lentils you use.
- 4
Your soup is ready! Sprinkle a pinch of cumin on top. I served it with fried bread on the side—it’s delicious. Hope you enjoy it, and wishing you good health!
