Ingredients

3 tbspbutter
1shallot - diced
1garlic clove - minced
1 cupJasmati/Jasmine or parboiled rice
3/4 cupcooking sherry
1 cupchicken broth
1/4 cupshredded parmesan cheese

Steps

Add all ingredients except the Parmesan cheese into a small 2 quart slow cooker

Cook on high for 90 minutes to 2 hours

Fluff rice with a fork and then stir in the cheese before serving
