Rice Paper Galette

I wanted to think of a new way to use rice paper.
The cheese has some saltiness, so I don't add any extra salt. Sprinkle some on the egg if you like.
This cooks up quickly, so for best results, don't turn on the heat until Step 2.
You can also add some boiled spinach or bacon as a filling. Recipe by Mayugari-ta

Steps
- 1
Heat your frying pan. Soak the rice paper in water and, once softened, put a bit of vegetable oil in the pan and set the rice paper on top.
- 2
Quickly top with the ham and crumble the cheese on top. Crack the egg on top of the ingredients, cover with a lid, and cook until the egg is as firm as you like. (If you add a tablespoon of water, it will steam faster.)
- 3
Remove the lid, turn the heat to high. Once the rice paper is crispy, sprinkle with black pepper, and fold the corners of the paper.
- 4
Serve while hot.
