Ingredients

  1. --Chili-----
  2. 2-1/2 poundground beef
  3. 30 ounceslight kidney beans
  4. 6 ouncetomato paste
  5. 56 ouncestomato sauce
  6. 1 tablespoonground cumin
  7. 1 teaspoongranulated garlic powder
  8. 1-1/2 teaspoonsalt
  9. -toppings optional-----
  10. 1/4 cupsour cream per serving
  11. 2 tablespoonsdiced jalapeno peppers
  12. 1-1/2 tablespoonsraw white coarsly chopped onion
  13. to tastechili powders

Steps

  1. 1

    Brown the beef and drain.

  2. 2

    Add spice and stir.

  3. 3

    Bring to a simmer and add sauce and paste.

  4. 4

    Simmer 15 minutes and add kidney beans.

  5. 5

    Simmer on low heat for 30-40 minutes stirring occasionally.

  6. 6

    Serve adding desired toppings.

  7. 7
