Ingredients

6 hours.
4 people
  1. 6-8bone- in and skin on chicken thighs
  2. 1large onion cut in half then sliced in half moons
  3. 5-6Yukon Gold unpeeled potaoes cut into chunks
  4. 4-5med. Carrots cut into 1/2"to 1" chunks
  5. 1 canchicken broth
  6. 2tbls. Tomato paste
  7. 2tbls. Corn starch and 2 tbls water mixed with fork until blend
  8. 2large cloves of garlic minced
  9. 1/8 cupsoy sauce. 1/4 cup if using low salt broth
  10. 2tbls. Sesame seed oil
  11. 1 tsp.Sriracha sauce
  12. Salt and pepper
  13. Paprika

Cooking Instructions

6 hours.

    Put 2 tbls. Veg. Oil in large skillit on med high heat add chicken sprinkle with salt, black pepper and paprika. Brown for 4 to 5 mins. On each side. Be sure to season both sides. Place potatoes and carrots on bottom of crock.(don't forget to spray the crock with cookin spray first) place browned chicken on top of veggies. Place sliced onions in browning skillit (do not remove any oil or juices left from browning chicken) cook for 3-5 minutes. Add tomato paste until blended with onions.

    Add broth. Bring to soft boil and add corn starch mix and stir until thick. Add soy sauce and sesame seed oil and pour over chicken and veggies. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Place chicken on plate and remove veggies with slotted spoon and pour sauce into med. Bowl. Serve.
