I wanted to use the assorted sashimi from the store!

You just have to shape it using plastic wrap, so it's an easy recipe!

Ingredients

  1. 700 gramsPlain cooked rice
  2. 2 tbspSushi vinegar
  3. 1pack Assorted store-bought sashimi
  4. 1Egg

Steps

  1. 1

    Make the sushi rice by mixing the sushi vinegar into some freshly made rice and flapping a fan over it quickly to cool.

  2. 2

    Put the egg in a bowl and beat well. Lightly oil a tamagoyaki pan and make an egg crepe.

  3. 3

    Shape the sushi rice into large bite-sized balls.

  4. 4

    Sashimi sushi balls: Put plastic wrap in your left hand and put the filling on top, then put a rice ball from Step 3 on top of that, and wrap as you shape it.

  5. 5

    Egg sushi balls: Make the sushi rice from Step 3 into a barrel shape, then wrap up in the egg crepe from Step 2. If you use the stem from boiled mitsuba to tie them up, it looks real nice!
