Steps

Cake:

Beat the eggs, sugar, and salt together with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.

Add the milk and mix well.

Add the oil and mix again.

Gently fold in the sifted flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder using a spatula, mixing from the bottom up.

Pour the cake batter into greased mini molds, filling each mold halfway.

Bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 15 minutes.

When the cakes come out of the oven, poke them with a skewer and drizzle with cold milk. Set aside.

Chocolate mousse:

Chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt it in the microwave or over a double boiler.

Whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

Add a little cooled melted chocolate to the whipped cream and gently fold it in with a spatula.

Add the remaining melted chocolate and mix until you have a smooth chocolate mousse.

Cover the cooled mini cakes with the chocolate mousse and refrigerate.

Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and top each cake with a chocolate truffle for extra indulgence.
